Ivan Stebunov, being the owner of an outstanding talent, very quickly became a sought-after actor and managed to win the love of a huge audience of viewers. The birthplace of Ivan Stebunov is the village of Prutskoy, Pavlovsky District, Altai Territory, where he was born in November 1981. The family repeatedly changed their place of residence, and in the 90s ended up in Novosibirsk. My father was engaged in private business, and my mother, being a professional actress, played on the stage of the local academic youth theater "Globe".
In this theater, Vanya also performed in performances as a child and even received money for it. At the same time, the boy was engaged in a plasticity studio, which made performances for young spectators.
In addition to his passion for the theater, Ivan enthusiastically attended Greco-Roman wrestling training, and by the age of fourteen he had achieved quite good results.
But I had to say goodbye to my sports career. The fact is that in one of the fights during the competition, the teenager broke two cervical vertebrae and was bedridden. He had to learn to walk again and not take off his support corset for a whole year.
Stebunov treated the study of school subjects with coolness and, as soon as he graduated from the ninth grade, he immediately entered the Novosibirsk Theater School.
After studying there for two years, he took the documents and went to conquer Moscow theater universities, but the attempt was unsuccessful. Then the young man decided to try his luck again and went to St. Petersburg. In the northern capital, he became a first-year student at the State Academy of Theater Arts (SPbGATI), from which he graduated in 2003.
The young actor's cinematic career began with the German director's Edelweiss Pirates (2004), in which he successfully played a central role. The military drama Cadets followed, where Ivan incomparably fit into the image of Rem Raisky.
It was from the moment the film "Cadets" (2004) was released on the screens of the country that the "star" of a talented actor flared up, and he was at the top of popularity. Offers from filmmakers poured in one after another.
The young talent did not remain aloof from the eyes of theater directors. First, Stebunov was invited to the famous Sovremennik Theater to play the role of Caesar in the play Antony and Cleopatra on a contract basis, and in 2006 the actor was enrolled in the troupe on a permanent basis.
In 2007, at a rehearsal for the play Woe from Wit, Ivan met actress Marina Aleksandrova. The beauty captivated Stebunov's heart and he fell madly in love with her. Soon a romantic relationship began between them, and a year later they played a magnificent wedding.

Ivan was very upset by the break with his beloved wife, starred a lot, played on stage, and one day he realized that routine, dissatisfaction in work and the ensuing blues had covered him with his head. Something had to be done.
At the age of 33, Stebunov quit his job at Sovremennik and went to Barnaul to work as a director at the Youth Theater of Altai. Valery Zolotukhin. There he staged two performances and repeatedly appeared on stage as an actor.
